Claude sign-in emails
Every time Claude signs in to your FMS account, FMS emails you. Read each one. It is how you notice a sign-in you did not start.
What the email says
A minute or two after Claude signs in, FMS emails you. You get one email for every sign-in, not only the first. It says:
- which account
- which Claude app, and the app's name (App (as it names itself))
- where the sign-in went: Sign-in sent to: claude.ai, or an app on the computer that signed in (not a website)
- when, in UTC
- the address and browser it came from
The FMS admin alert address gets its own email about the same sign-in. See What the admin address gets.
| Subject | What happened |
|---|---|
| Claude was connected to your FMS account | A new connection. |
| Claude signed in to your FMS account again | Someone signed in again from the same Claude app. The earlier connection from that app was ended, and this sign-in replaces it. |
What to do
- It was you: nothing to do.
- It was not you, or you do not recognise the browser: open Your account, press Disconnect, change your password, and tell an owner. The button Review your connections in the email goes straight to Your account. See Disconnect Claude.
What the admin address gets
The admin alert address gets a separate email for every sign-in. It arrives even if the colleague's own address does not take mail.
| Subject | What happened |
|---|---|
| [FMS] Claude was connected to … | A colleague connected Claude. |
| [FMS] Claude signed in again as … | A colleague signed in again from the same Claude app. |
Its details box lists the request in full:
| Line | What it is |
|---|---|
| Staff account and Role | Whose account signed in |
| App (as it names itself) and App id | The Claude app. The name is the app's own claim |
| Sign-in sent to | Where the sign-in went back to, such as claude.ai |
| Kind | new connection or sign-in again |
| Connection and When | The connection's number and the time in UTC |
| IP address | The address the sign-in came from |
| Browser (user agent) | The browser's own description of itself, in full |
If the colleague did not expect it, press Open the staff account in the email. Then press Revoke all.
No email came?
It may be waiting on the mail setup, or FMS has no relay set up yet. Ask the technical team. The connection still works.
