Gift emails

FMS never emails members itself. Gift claim links and "your membership ends soon" reminders are sent by WordPress.

One tick box, and a button to send immediately.

Click anywhere, or press Esc, to close.

Tick Gift membership emails and save. From then on the site checks FMS every fifteen minutes and sends anything waiting.

Send now

Send pending gift emails now does the same check immediately. It reports how many claim emails and how many ending-soon reminders it sent, and how many failed.

Use it when someone is waiting on a gift and you do not want to wait a quarter of an hour.

Each message is handed over exactly once

If WordPress fails to send it, FMS will not offer it again. The link is not lost: re-issue it from Gifts in the admin portal. If the failure count is not zero, always follow up.

If nothing is sending

• The tick box is on and saved
• The connection test on the same page passes
• The site can send email at all, tested with a password reset
