What a team admin sees, and what the people on their seats see.
The team admin
They can invite somebody into a free seat, remove somebody, and hand the admin role to another member. A team that pays by card can also change its seat count here: Review change shows the price, and Confirm & pay charges the difference straight away. A team that pays by invoice changes seats from its invoices page. A team staff set up by hand can only be changed by staff, in Teams.
Someone on a seat
They read everything the team plan includes and manage their own newsletters and login details. The top of their account hub says A seat on the team plan “…”, managed by your team admin.
They cannot cancel: the team is one subscription, and only the admin can change it. The cancel section names their team and tells them to ask the admin. On the pricing page a note says they are already on a team plan, and that buying their own membership frees the seat for a colleague.
Common questions
"I want to leave the team." The team admin removes them. That frees the seat immediately.
"We need one more person." Staff add a seat, which changes what the team is billed. See Teams.
"Who is our admin?" Any staff member can see it on the team's page in the admin portal.
